If there’s a UX research maturity ladder, many organizations are extremely immature. They don’t learn form their customers through user research, they don’t hire researchers, yet they call themselves “data driven.” During this talk, Tomer will introduce a UX research maturity model that helps to uncover and understand maturity when it comes to truly learning from customers. Tomer will then introduce three practices of mature organizations:
- Making the experience visible
- Creating research systems
- Eliminating research teams
Tomer will discuss these principles using examples from the past work at Google and current practice at WeWork.
